“Suqia Al-Hayat”…. There is a reward in every moist liver!

In refugee camps located at the Turkish-Syrian borders life is not easy for the refugees, millions of them are living a hard life that lacks the simplest necessities needed to live decently
; this leads to continuous cries for help and wake-up calls for humanity from the refugees asking only to be provided with these primary necessities that they need to survive.
Water shortage is one of these missing necessities and it is one of the biggest problems faced by the refugees in all camps and especially in slums on a daily basis, these camps and slums are still lacking the facilities needed for providing and storing water.
Cold water!
During hot summer days with increasing heat, refugees suffer even more as the camps cannot protect them from heat in the summer or even from cold in the winter, refugees try to use primitive old ways to store and cool water inside their tents, hoping that this might reduce the effect of heat and dreaming of being provided with cold clean water.
“Suqia Al-Hayat” project
Based on our beliefs and duty to provide our people in refugee camps with their needs and help them survive the harsh conditions they are facing, we at Hathi Hayati Volunteering Group, established a unique project under the name “Suqia Al-Hayat”. The project, aiming to provide refugees with clean water, started to produce ice molds from clean, healthy water during summer.
The project produces one hundred ice molds daily, and the ice molds are then transported to the people in camps where they can benefit from it and consume it for the entire day.
The project caused a clear difference in the daily lives of refugees, who completely became dependent on the ice molds, especially during heat waves and holy Ramadan at which the demand for clean cold drinking water increases.

Cold water delivered to the tents
The project factory produces more than 100 ice molds daily, according to quality control and purification standards, the ice molds are also tested in the lab to ensure that the water used is healthy and clean, the ice molds can cover the daily needs of a family of five.
The project ran continuously for more than 100 days during the summer heat wave and Ramadan season, 3544 ice molds were produced during that period benefiting 17720 refugees.
Our team reached more than 20 camps and 11 regions occupied by refugees and displaced persons in Idlib and the surrounding area, to provide ice mold services for these peoples hoping that it might lessen their suffering during the heat.

not hesitate to contact our team for any question or donation.
